Play Ball!

This is the 2009 Pirates T-Ball team. If you will notice, Blaine is the coach standing in the back (he was not excited to be in the team picture by himself) and Brynlee and Baylee are on the middle row on the left. GO PIRATES!!!!

This is Baylee's first season playing T-Ball and she was sooo excited to play. She just barely came in under the deadline turning 4 just 13 days before the May 1st cutoff. Actually, the legal age is 5 but if a family member is the coach, they drop it to four.

This is Brynlee's second season with the Pirates and she is a pretty good ball player. Tonight was their second game of the season and she got two people out. We sat in the drizzling rain and cheered them on. It was technically Baylee's first game because she was sick the first game. Daddy bribed Baylee with Nacho and Cheese so she stayed on the field the whole time except one potty break. If you ever get a chance to go to a T-ball game, I would highly recommend it for good entertainment.

Brynlee Loses Her First Tooth

Brynlee has been waiting and waiting to lose her first tooth. I don't know if you can see it in this picture but it is hanging by a thread. I get weak in the knees when looking at loose teeth because I have always had nightmares about my teeth falling out. Brynlee kept showing it to me and wiggling it and she has been trying to get it out for awhile now. Daddy got a hold of her last night and out it came.

The Tooth Fairy came to visit her last night and brought her $5. Apparently somebody told her you get $20 so she wasn't impressed with the Tooth Fairy, but she was impressed with having a gap in her teeth.

Happy Birthday Zachary!

Zachary turned the big "1" on Friday, March 6, 2009. Of course, we had a birthday party for him because the first birthday is the most important birthday that they will never remember. Blaine made some great pulled pork for the adults and I made nachos for the kids. We had balloons, cake and ice cream. We had just the best time watching him open his presents and eat his cake. It was priceless. He loved having free riegn of his cake. We thank everyone for their birthday wishes and presents. I can't believe my baby is one already.

Computer geeks

I was doing a haircut on my neice, Katie, and we were having a discussion about Groundhog's day. I thought that if the groundhog saw his shadow that Spring was just around the corner. Katie and Brynlee thought it meant there was six more weeks of winter. Brynlee disappeared for a few minutes and when she came back she said, "Mom, I looked it up and it means that there is six more weeks of winter." I asked here where she looked it up and she said, "The internet." She had "googled it," found a video and watched it. Kindof scary, uh?

Baylee has been practicing using the mouse for the past few days. This morning she clicked on the arrow and it went to the next page correctly. She said, "I did it!" Brynlee ran over and they gave each other the biggest hug. They were so funny, you would have thought she won the lotto.

Photo Shoot

This was Sunday, before we went to church. I didn't think I would get a good picture of all three without any help but I tried.

This one didn't turn out too bad. I got them all looking at the camera. Apparently my kids like to stick their tongue out.

This was the best one I could get out of Brynlee. She was being a little onry because Baylee wouldn't sit on her lap for the picture.

Miss personality! Baylee is definitely one who shows her feelings from head to toe. She reminds me of a poem my mom used to say to me when I was young. "There was a little girl, who had a little curl, right in the middle of her forehead. When she was good, she was very, very good. And when she was bad, she was horrid." This proves to be true with Baylee except her curls are around her ears.
