Computer geeks

I was doing a haircut on my neice, Katie, and we were having a discussion about Groundhog's day. I thought that if the groundhog saw his shadow that Spring was just around the corner. Katie and Brynlee thought it meant there was six more weeks of winter. Brynlee disappeared for a few minutes and when she came back she said, "Mom, I looked it up and it means that there is six more weeks of winter." I asked here where she looked it up and she said, "The internet." She had "googled it," found a video and watched it. Kindof scary, uh?

Baylee has been practicing using the mouse for the past few days. This morning she clicked on the arrow and it went to the next page correctly. She said, "I did it!" Brynlee ran over and they gave each other the biggest hug. They were so funny, you would have thought she won the lotto.

  1. ha ha ,they're cute little computer geeks. How do little kids know so much about the internet? We got to see computers once a week at school when I was in 4th grade, and those computer screens were one color- green

  2. Wow! I don't really let my boys touch the computer. I am afraid they would mess something up and I wouldn't know how to fix it. What would I do if I couldn't check everyone's blogs???? Very impressive. I am so glad you decided to join the blog world!!!!!
